Bmw e34 m50tu but e36 mount arms don't bolt up

I got a 1993-1995 bmw e34 m50tu I was using for a swap but the left mount bracket (arms) from a e36 m50 don't bolt up help me plz don't know what to do

Did you turn it upside down?

are only 2 of the holes threaded on the passenger side of the block? i am pretty sure the left side arm will bolt on right side up or up side down

You are using the wrong set of holes. E36 arms use different holes on the block then the E34 arms.

Look for 2 rusty holes, clean them and re tap. Install mounts and golden!

what size tap did you use for the 2 rusty holes my threads seem to be completely gone, is it ok to tap to the next size larger?
