I've been around and Not a newbe. I'm re/rebuilding my 97' s52 for my street eddriven 88' M3. I'd like to hear from bmw members who have real knowledge about installing the +1mm or +2mm oversized intake/valves that are on the market.ALREADY HAVE, NA s52 w/sport schrick cams,Vac double valve spring/retainers ,adjusted compression ratio 11.0cr, 240mm m5 clutch w/ getrag 6sp and a 3:25 in the rear. Yes I know intake/exhaust are a major factor. Head work is alway key to HP but does this mod really give a dyno return? Please keep comments positive and on subject. Thanks , Joe

sometimes a bigger valve allows a better shaped short side which can be very beneficial for stability and air speed over the turn not just extra area. i would speak to a head porter with experience in the the head in question.89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...
