Oh yeah that website looks TOTALLY legit.

Where does one find these Spal dissenters?

I got the Mishimoto from BluntTech and it's been great so far. It looked, wired and went in place exactly like the Spal units I have had in the past. I wonder if there is a manufacturing connection there.

I think those fans are for American V8 guys, I won't hold terrible web design against them.

This thread is where I saw FF pop up.

Spal seems to have lower CFM then an equivalent FF dynamics fan. I think I'm just obsessed with "overkill" on the fan, don't want to have another summer highway shoulder experience.

Probably so, there can only be so many factories that produce fans. Lol

I would find out where their fans are made. If it's China, then they are probably the same garbage you see all over eBay with equally poor documentation and cheap web design. Not saying every fan made in China is garbage, but the rebranding of bottom barrel crap is rampant. Stick with Spal IMO, it's not like they cost $500...we're talking a difference of a couple cups of Starbucks.

Yes, and Nakamichi head units seem to have lower wattage rating than a Kraco.

                Again I ask:

Not dissing on Spal, but if I can save a few bucks and have something better, why not?

Anyways, I'll try an FF dynamics one sometime before the end of summer, I'll let you know what I find.

Be sure to post from the side of the road with your review. ;) Seriously though, good luck I'm sure it'll work out fine unless it doesn't.

My Rule #1 for car parts: You almost always get what you pay for. And when I say almost always, I mean 99.5 percent of the time. If Spal is trusted (they are) and costs a few more dollars (also true), just do it. If you can afford a 24v swap, you can afford a Spal fan. Pay for it once, not twice.

I actually found a spal with mounting brackets and 185 degree relay for $125.

Spal 30100401 16" Low Profile Fan (Push). Spal cooling fan for car truck and motorcycle radiators, air conditioning condensors and oil coolers

                        Now that's a good deal.
