How you connected the E30 ABS to the E34 master cylinder

I got an e34 master and booster - how you connected the E30 ABS system? did you cut the tubes and re shape it to fit?

The master cylinder and booster have nothing to do with the ABS. The lines coming out of the master simply go through the ABS pump before dispersing to the calipers. The booster, just like the E30 one, just needs vacuum. Unless you got a hydro booster?

If you wanted to retain abs from what I know you would just connect your two lines that lead to your master currently to your e34 master. Abs cars are supposed to have 2 lines leading from the master to the abs unit and i know for a fact an e34 has 2 outlets and the thread pitch is the same. Most people just delete it. I didn't have abs so my master cylinder had 3 outlets so you really don't have anything to worry about. Just bend them so they can screw into your new master, and it really shouldn't take much. It will still be in the area, but you might have to invest in a bubble flaring tool incase you need to shorten the lines. might go ahead and replace them while you're at it can reuse fitting and just get a new hard line.

The E34 master is NOT the same as the ix.

It's a larger diameter piston. the ix has the same size as the regular E30, the only difference is the bolt pattern matches the E34/E38 booster.
