Well I finally started driving my car after all these months of meticulously trying to complete the swap.
It moves like a race horse, has power all over the place, and goes through gears so quickly it just doesn't seem right. I already outgunned my friends modded '99 m3 by a few car lengths.
All the bushings in the car are new, H&R sports/Koni SA shocks. Pretty much poly in the rear for all the bushings and rubber up front (trying to keep the harshness down). I've gone complete e30 m3 suspension, steering, and brakes. This car feels really well balanced and really great for the most part.
I have a few minor issues i have to get worked out but that was to be expected. it's basically a stock internal '95 s50 with a bunch of bolt on's. So far so good, and I really like the e36 transmission. For those of you wondering, I put in a 3.46, but I could definitely have used a 3.25 and it would have worked just fine for my application. This car flies through the powerband like my s14 does, it's cool. Just giving an update, if anyone can host some pics i can post 'em, took a few decent ones the other day.
Thanks for all the advice along the way everyone, I didn't need that zionsville manual or any other for that matter, I just relied on my r3v research and realoem browsing. It worked out pretty well!
