    Camshafts

Alright, So I have a non-VANOS M50 and I want to get a set of cams to drop in it. But all I can find via Turner, and Pelican, and all the usual suspects is cam sets for the Vanos engine. Anyone know where I can pick up a set for a non-Vanos M50?

I remember reading from a European Car article some time ago that a good cam set up on a non-Vanos M50 is to take the intake cam and make that your exhaust cam then pick up an Schrick 256 grind (at least I think that's what it is) and make that your new intake cam. Doing this gets you a set up that is very similar to doing the S50 cam swap onto Vanos equipped M50s.

Run a search here or check out the tech articles at www.europeancarweb.com. I think its still hosted there.

        Google.

You'll find what you're looking for there. It's easy.

haha, I ran a google search for "M50 non-vanos cam", and this was the first thing I got:

It's a short thread, but humorous
