Which m50 do I have?

Maybe I'm just searching in the wrong sections. But I have a non vanos m50. Is the only way to tell which m50 it is by measuring stroke or the id by the drivers side mount on the block?

It's a 2.5 if it's non VANOS.

Europe got a 2.0L and and 2.5L, US domestic market received only the 2.5L.
