E36 M50 automatic wiring harness to fit a manual swap

What do I need to do to use an automatic harness onto my 5 speed swap?

Cut all the auto wires out then connect one wire the 12+. Cant remember the exact one but there is plenty info out there.

Its easy to cut. Just cut all the ones going to the automatic tranny control unit. Pull em out.

You don't have to do anything I don't think. I cut out everything that went to the trans computer plug and also the plug that goes down to the trans. I had I think three left over wires that went from the trans computer to the DME. I didn't connect them to anything.

How about the one the goes to the manual transmission since I'm using a G250 how I know which one it is?

you can simply remove all the automatic wiring, or leave it as is. there's nothing else to modify.

use a wiring diagram if you want to modify a harness.

The only wire that goes to the manual trans is the reverse light switch. That is part of the E30 body harness not the engine harness.
