    16w Engineerings shop car

So I will keep the intro short and get right to the pics.

I have a small performance fabrication shop, and I had no shop car....I have loved E30's since I was a teenager, so when I saw a guy down the road trying to trailer this sucker to the scraper I knew I had to have it.

I started with an 87 Auto Eta. BOOOOOOO.

Dont mind the i, shes lying.

I am organizing the pictures I have to bring this thread up to speed quickly. Thanks for looking

I didnt know all that much about this engine platform, or the swap for that matter. So I googled the shit out of it to educate myself.

Engine on a stand getting cleaned up a bit

    Scrapping parts I wont need

Wiring harness tagged. Next I had to pull out the auto part to make her nice and lean

Wait - did you just scrap out the manifold? Isn't that the early style large-runner manifold that everyone wants? If you don't want it, you should sell it.

Not scrapped. I would be happy to sell it!

Why not try to fab itb setup? What advantage are you gonna get with this manifold over the plastic m50 one?

I've got a design for ITB's I have been working on for a while, but given I will machine and fabricate the entire set up its a time consuming enough project I cant justify right now with my work load. (they were never m50 specific, but thats easy enough to build to suit)

A lot of my business revolves around intake construction, so its just as much an advertising tool for shows as it is function. Also I am able to place my throttle body where I want, which will help when I turbo charge it this winter.
I had the opportunity to ensure I cleared the stock Booster as well.
