what fuse to run with 255 fuel pump?

Put in a 255 fuel pump and was driving and blew the 7.5 fuse. I put in a 30 amp but I don't want to draw too much power and screw anything else up. Is 30 amps too much or is it ok?

    Thanks

put the 7.5 back in. Oem bosch is 255lph too so you're not drawing more amperage than before. If you're blowing 7.5's then something else is wrong.

Agreed, I kept the 7.5A when I put in my Walbro and it was fine. Check your wires.

Ok. Thanks. If it makes a difference it blew while coming to a stop at 40 or 45

if you put in a 30 amp fuse in place of a 7.5a, you're running the risk of a fire. there's a reason that fuses are sized they way they are.

I and a friend both kept randomly blowing the 7.5a fuse after installing a TRE 255lph and Walbro 255
Using 10A and no longer having issues, though I know its not a long term solution.

i'll just throw in the 7.5 and if it blows again i'll put a 10 in until i can trace back where it's going bad at
