    Major S50 Trouble

Swapped shrick cams in an S50 this weekend. Starts fine, idles fine, start driving and it'll begin to drive. Can get it into gear and drive it. Once you ask for more power it makes this terrible sound and shuts down.

When in neutral, It can be revved to hell & back and it sounds great. Only under load does it make this terrible not quite grinding sound but lets call it that. I have never heard this sound but it is not good.

Anyone have any ideas of what it could be? I'm thinking timing but even then it sounds great at idle and when revved off load. I followed this video when timing.

And I even marked the chains and the sprockets off the old cams and made sure they lined up on the new ones.

    Could be VANOS related?

Also has upgraded injectors and turner chip to go with the cams.

    Help please!?

    Check your vanos timing.

I would be willing to also bet that the vanos timing is off, you probably missed a tooth when rotating the gear into the cam.
Friend had this happen, bent all of the exhaust valves.
