    OBD2 EWS Delete Wiring

I'm currently thinning out the dozens of excess wires in my OBD2 harness. If I have EWS flashed out of the MS41 DME, can I remove the wire that goes from X20 Pin 7 to X6000 Pin 18? Or does it need to see some sort of signal even with the delete?

Edit from the future: Absolutely can delete all EWS wiring if it is flashed out.

Thanks. I guess I'm going for it today along with the last few unnecessary X20-X6000 leads.
