    Coolant Level Sensor wiring

My '87 has the early style cooling system with the overflow tank on the passenger's side. I've got a late model tank which I'll be using on the driver's side for my swap. Just curious as to what folks have done with the coolant level sensor and wiring in this situation. It looks like it's part of the body harness that runs across the grille/bumper area up front. I'm wondering if the harness just needs to be cut back to the point where the connector will reach to the driver's side where the tank will be?

What have you guys done for this?? Thanks!
