Is there room to run a cat and a resonator under there?

I run stock shorty hearders that feed into a magnaflow dual 2.5inch to single 3 inch, a 3inch catco cat, then straight piped to a summit 3 chamber muffler, its so loud, and it drones whenever my foot isn't on the gas (almost like a 18 wheeler on his jake brake). It sounds pretty decent but nothing really to brag about. I spent about 600 dollars in material and labor. Also my exhaust scrapes alooooot.

An 18" resonator would really help.

Yeah and the longer the better. Another perhaps better option would be to weld in another oval muffler if you have clearance. If not a resonator would definitely help.

Vibrant 7013 Oval Ceramic Core Catalytic Converter
Vibrant 1148 Streetpower Black flat oval muffler
Both of these are 2.5"
I am using the satin black vibrant street power muffler (looks AWESOME on the car - pn 1148), and an 18" oval magnaflow muffler (pn 12296) in the middle. It sounds very good IMO. I haven't driven it yet, but idling and some revs sound very nice. A little louder than stock s52 system but not obnoxious at all. I'll probably add a cat soon for the smell - annoying I can't buy non carb cat since I'm in CA.
As for using off the shelf stuff to avoid a full custom setup - I was planning on using a full e36 s52 exhaust (manifolds, midsection, muffler) that I have from my e36. None of it fits well at all except the manifolds. There's clearance issues on the midsection with the swaybar/front subframe and right control arm bracket, and the M3 muffler doesn't fit at all. Even if you modded it to work, the whole thing sits very low and is very heavy. Full custom is the way to go. As mentioned before, you can have a headers back system made and just change the merge section off the headers when you do your swap. Full custom will be cheaper than anything off the shelf, and nicer if done well IMO
ALTHOUGH - if you have money burning a hole in your wallet, this system made by ark asylum looks absolutely AMAZING like mind blowingly nice
ark asylum HEADER AND EXHAUST FOR S54 OR S/M 50/52 SWAPPED E30'S
edit: I also have plenty of room left to add another muffler/resonator plus a cat if it's too loud or drones or whatever
