    M50 Headers/exhaust question

Hi i have a m50nv in my e30 and the headers dont clear :(:(

Now first of all ive searched and couldnt find a straight answer to my question as to what headers can fit and will clear the e30 subframe?

I heard ebay headers might work but can anyone confirm this?
    Thanks!

2 sets of ebay supersprint knockoffs with no subframe or cab clearance problems. They are tight on the firewall of my cabrio so i pounded the bottom corner in a bit. On the coupe they fit fine with no mods of thre hammer variety.

Stock headers won't clear? I did an m50 into a 93 cabrio and had no clearance issues. I used an e34 midsection/cat and the downpipe was only mildly modified by an exhaust shop to bolt up to the stock cast iron headers. Still have stock control arm bushings in there as well and no subframe clearance issues. Is it possible you're using a different motor arm and mount setup? Any accident damage?

I had clearance issues with my ebay headers on my 84 coupe. I heated and bent one bank up (to clear the subframe) and the other down (to clear the firewall/footwell). I pounded the footwell in a bit also.

edit: I bought the cheapest of the cheap longtube variety. They have held up well for over a year.

Had to do the same. Bought some cheap ebay long tube headers, and the pipe from cyl 1-3 was hitting the sway bar, so i just torched it and gave it a little dent

Mine were supersprint knockoffs. Both pairs still on the car. Just as an aside i put some real supersprint longtubes on a sunbelt cammed s52 e36m track car. The real deal is like artwork haha.

My eBay SS Rep's clear everything as well. Only thing I'm trying to figure out now is how to mount up my Y-Merge so that I'll still be able to remove them without cutting them out.

I welded V-bands to each bank and then put the y-pipe downstream of that.

anyone have any pictures of ebay knockoff headers on a 24v swap? about to put my S52 in but mine is RHD and I know stock ones will not clear the steering shaft without major modification.

                            I bought these http://www.ebay.com/itm/STAINLESS-RA...item2a17ab1034

I had to heat and bend for motor mount clearance but does not hit body or sway bar. I'm using the Revshift 24v swap mounts.

Those Speed Daddy ones are the same ones I bought and they hit the subframe and the firewall. I am using AKG mounts. Just and FYI for anyone reading this in the future.
