Wiring a VDO viewline tachometer ? ( M52B28 )

i'm trying to wire a VDO view line tachometer using the MS41 rpm output.

It's accurate, but response is very very slow ?

your advices ?

maybe it needs to be directly wired to the #1 coil ?

I assume you tapped engine speed signal, black wire at DME. and you verify 12 volts and a good ground.

If so, you may want to contact VDO or see the spec sheet to see if there are any troubleshooting guides.

accurate rpm but slow as f... response.

got some news

it needs to be programmed with a pc software to accepter square 12v signal.

and we can't find the software on the do website.
