If you want your harness repinned, then you would need to send your own harness.
If you would just like the adapter harness (like the pictures above), then you wouldnt need to send me your harness.

Do only the 'e' models require that you run the tach, mpg, and speed signal through the harness?

No, there are actually some 87 "i" models that use them as well. An easy way to tell is if you see a 3 pin connector (c104) in your glovebox area. Pin 1 should be black, pin 2 should be red/green, and pin 3 should be yellow/white. If you have this connector, then you will need the extra wires.

The extra wires are included with the harness (if your model requires it)

Benchflash harness for MS42, MS43, MSS54/HP, and MSS52

We do offer an ECU benchflash harness to reflash your DME outside of the car.
It will come with instructions and links for the necessary software.
It is intended to be used with any 12v power supply. It is suggested to use one that only reaches 5 amps maximum. Otherwise, I suggest to add a fuse to the (+) terminal on the benchflash harness.
You will just need to get a Galletto 1260 cable and/or the INPA K+DCAN cable. These options are explained in the included instructions.
