You sure you have the right wrist pin? M50/M52/S50/S52 all have the same diameter wrist pin. Or maybe the M52 rods are just extremely worn?

i to was under the impression than all pins were 22mm. in anycase any engine builder should be able to press out old bushes and refit and hone a new set

My engine is currently using S50 wrist pins with M52 rods and S52 pistons. They are all 22mm. Did you perhaps get euro S50 pistons?

Anyway, here's the part number and complete list of applications... http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/11241278209/

Should be pretty cheap from the dealer

Anyone tried this? Rods diameter : S50 51mm and M54 48.01 mm ( big side/crank side ). Is it true ? Also the rod from S50B32 has 139mm and M54b30 rod has 135 mm
Now I have M54 crank , pistons and rods in M50 NV block...
