Can I get an opinion on this please?

So basically I have all parts ready for a 2.7i conversion to into my ETA but I found an m50 with zf trans for sale for $700. I was wondering if 1) you guys think that's a good deal? And 2) if it's even worth it? Scrap all of my 2.7i parts and move on to 24v? M50 seems to be in good shape with only 76k on it. Only missing intake but everything else I would need for the swap I would have to gather. What do you guys think? Here's a picture

Is it a Vanos or Non Vanos? Miles are super low, so thats a plus, but are you planning on making the car street legal? Lots of variables
