long stroke crank vs short stroke? b28 vs b30

hello, first sorry for my english, it's not my native language.
i have m52b28 engine from e36 328is with iron block, i'm going to bore the block to 86mm and fit s50b30 86mm pistons.
i have m52b28 crank and m54b30 crank. i was going to put b28 crank on my build because i think oversquare engine is better for racing engine
but i really want an advice from person who has an experience. b28 crank or b30?

    I prefer the 84mm stroke.

The only reason to stick with the smaller displacement is if you are in a displacement limited racing class. Other than that, go for the bigger displacement whenever you can.

if you deal the the harmonics the long stroke will be better

in theory the oversquare engine is better in some respects but you probably arent going to be able to take advantage of them running the smaller stroke
