    Starter winding but not spinning

I finished my s52 swap😃. I sat in the car to start it for the first time, I turned the key, and all it did just winding noise from the starter.😤😤😤😤😤 I pulled the starter out and noticed some marks on the flywheel but does not actually engage it what can it be please help. I used getrag260 m20 flywheel and I tried both s52 and m20 starter does the same

you pm'd me about this correct? it would've been best to keep this question on your original swap thread, alot of the senior guys here will flame you for this kind of stuff. don't forget to READ READ READ buddy.

but to answer your question it sounds like your starter isn't actuating correctly, if you are using g260 components with m20 starter, then it shouldve worked. before buying a new starter, have it tested, and if it fails, I'd have it remanufactured at any starter, alternator repair facility.

You dont have an M20 starter. Theyre never threaded.... You need to get an M20 one.

I'm assuming the old owner had installed a different starter on the car, and confused the shit out of me,

is your fuel pump relay working then? there's one on the obd2 harness. make sure it's still good. but if it does work, switch your lines. where did you connect the inlet hose and where is it coming from, which hard line?

ok red tape is OUT, that's where the fuel comes out of
non red tape is IN, that's where it is supposed to flow through on the fuel rail

so where are they connected to in reference to the hard lines?

Red tape is the supply line, so it needs to connect to the top?
