    Pulling motor, quick question

I know that this information is probably here if I look for it but I really dont feel like reading through through the 48 page thread again. I am going to be pulling the motor out of a 95 auto 325is this week. I dont want to have to go back and forth from the junkyard where the car is for parts that I forgot. So my question is, besides engine, harness and ecu what misc. parts do I need to pull off the car while I am there?

e36 throttle cable. I guess the e30 cable is too long or something.

I'm think my e30 cablr will work fine, it's lines up fine.

just get any hoses, sensors, and accessories that you need in order for the motor to run safely.

Let me know if the e30 throttle cable works. I have a brand new one and it would be nice if I could just use that instead of using an e36 cable. Just one less thing I have to buy. Thanks.

you need the throttle cable. engine mount arms. if you're not taking the trans as well, make sure you get the guide pins from the block to trans. you should be all set.

e30 cable is too long. i made a spacer and put it betwwen the adjusting nut and the bracket, works great for now but im gonna order the e36 one as soon as i get time to go to the stealer. just order a new one for the price its not worth using one that has been sitting in a junkyard for god knows how long.

yeah they are only 25 new on some places online, but I don't really see my e30 one being too long.

don't get me wrong I will switch it with a proper cable in a month or so, I just need something temporary.

He is talking about the ones that make it so the tranny lines right up perfectly centered. They are just kinda pushed into the tranny or motor and you can end up with none depending on where they stick.

holmes - you need the upper and lower radiator hoses, I would leave the radiator unless it looks new as the e36 ones like to get brittle and break.
