    Driveshaft CSB question

I just bought a 1990 M52/ZF320 swapped e30. I'm going through the car and replacing a bunch of parts to get it track ready. I have the driveshaft out doing the rear subframe bushings and realized the e30 CSB on the e36 driveshaft is mounted in the factory E30 ordination. I have always heard you want it mounted backwards on the E36 driveshaft when using the e30 CSB.

Can anyone give me a definite answer on this? I have tried searching and seem to get both answers.

The CSB does not change direction, meaning you do not point the front towards the rear end. The e36 driveshaft just joins in a different orientation as the e30 driveshaft. So instead of installing it on the back half of the driveshaft, you install it on the front half. I hope that makes sense. Might be vise versa, I cant remember. lol

I don't know where the "Install the E30 CSB backwards" shit came from, but it pissed me off when I installed my driveshaft and noticed it had a kink in the middle.

So yeah, install the offset E30 one facing the same direction it was on the M20 DS.
