I hate to bring up old news, but that's over rev damage :^)
You should be able to legally get your money back - maybe invoicing him on the suit would be enough to scare him to get your money back! Happened to a friend of mine over a bad engine sale.

But dude, looking good. We need more boosted motors around here 8)

Yeah, I'm realizing that :( I have no idea how though. Maybe my tranny is done now, I'll check. But also the oil pump nut was loose.

I'm going to contact my lawyer and see what her opinion is. I'll keep you all posted on that!

I agree! S50 in an e30 is fast, but some boost never hurt right [emoji14]

I'm not sure how over revving would damage the trans and those ZF boxes are pretty stout.

Bored, boosted M50 though, very nice. Any plans to use the M54 crank and make a stroker?

I'm using everything forged s50 inside. And iirc, s50 cranks and m54's are the same. Yes?

M54 and the S52 share the 89.6mm crank, not the S50.

I FINALLY have some news to report on! Went to the machine shop today to have a look at how things are going. The head is all clean and just needs to be ported/polished and then resurfaced. Then assembled!

With the valves in and the double valve springs as well.

Here is a picture of my friends s52 block that just got finished. It's beautiful.

aftermarket double valve springs? What are you running for cams?

I haven't quite decided. Everything is not really worth it for how much money it costs.
I'm still searching for something that will be perfect for my application.

And yes, they are supertech double valve springs.

Getting the meth set-up on it was as well. 6 nozzles should do! [emoji56]

Nice Meth setup. I think i will end up starting out with a single nozzle after the MAF. Did you upgrade your oil pump? Also which fuel pump are you planning on using?
