    Vac Line Routing for S52

I'm sharing this because every picture I see of the S52 routing isn't descriptive enough.

This is how it was done on my S52. It was routed this way by one of the PO's of the setup. I don't know if it is the best technical way to do it, but the car idles smooth as butter and doesn't spit up much oil.

Instead of drawing the hoses, I've labeled them with numbers as far as which ports correspond to one another. I hope this saves someone doing a swap some time in the future.

Why delete your post? I'm sure you searched the forums before you posted. Maybe someone else has the same question you had. You could post a solution and be helpful to others.

I tore the forums apart before I posted so hopefully this saves someone some time. Maybe sticky?

What is that extra hose from the pcv going to the intake boot?

There are 2 hoses off your intake boot. They are routed as per the labels. The part number is written on my drawing. You can look it up.

PCV/CCV/Cyclone separator doesn't have two vacuum ports?

Did you mean to draw the second one to the dipstick tube drain?

Pretty much the same setup as my M52 setup otherwise

Rethread IAT to M12x1.5 to stick in the M50 mani IAT slot (or adjust scalar in MS41 for the OBD1 sensor)

CCV/ICV to the two port intake boot, booster/FPR/evap to normal spots, and cap off the spare vacuum port on the "goose neck"

No, this is exactly how mine is set up. I have no vac to the dipstick tube.

If mine is set up wrong I'd love to know that as well. As far as I'm concerned the car drives exceptionally well as it is currently set up though.

The dipstick tube is supposed to be connected to the bottom of the cyclone separator to allow "separated" oil to drain back to the pan. Don't connect a vacuum there or you'll suck up oil.

Ok, I have no vac on the dipstick tube. It's not plugged, it doesn't exist (been welded shut or whatnot).

I got this setup out of an S52 swapped e30 M3. Should I correct the way it's been run by the PO?

Mine is OBDI if that makes any difference***
