    Crank bolt

Hey guys have some problems breaking loose the crank bolt on a m50 vanos I'm stroking. I know its bolted on there with alot of torque, and I've read about all the different methods you can do to break it free. But I have the m50 crank locking tool but it doesn't seem to bolt in since the 6 holes are recessed inside the harmonic balancer? Any help?

You need to buy a spacer as well for the tool to work on certain engines.

the balancer is bolted on remove it first
it may need some pb blaster or something tap it with a mallet
it maybe rusted to the 'washer' on the crank bolt
