    Either the E30 325IX booster/cyliner

    Or 320 booster I believe.

Search for the details in the huge thread.

You don't want to use the iX master cylinder in a non-ix car.

Doesn't it have a different piston size front vs rear?

Thanks. I would look in the thread but it's much easier to make a quick post then to read 50 pages to get the info I need.

I'm also using an iX booster.

In fact its the recommended booster to be used in M50 swaps by the boys at E30.de.

                Don't confuse boosters and mastercylinders.

The ix booster is the thing to use. (can also be found on older 7 series)

The ix master cylinder is not. It has a different size piston front vs rear and it will throw your brake bias off.

No offense but you should re-read the mega 24v thread to freshen up on the details. I've got 540 remote mount reservoirs from an E34 with my iX booster+M5 Master Cyl.. but you can do a cleaner setup I think. Eventually I'll look for some small reservoirs that can go on the firewall for a fresh and clean look.

^ that is a really nice setup. assuming, front, rear, and clutch reservoirs.
