    M50 Block with pitting?

Hi guys, I was given this m50b25nv block for free, but as I started to clean it, I realize it's got some pitting/chipping on top of the cylinder wall, top of the block.... look at pics for reference. Let me know if it's good to use, if not I'll use my other block.

          Finally got the picture posted....

I circled the area where the pitting/chipping is located. Let me know if the block is still good. This happened to me once with an M20 block but I just used another block, but now i'm running a little thin on money so give me your opinions.

BTW, I'm building an a 3.0 stroker motor, all motor no turbo, nothing too extreme.

Looks like it was money shifted. Almost where the valves would have hit.

The person I got it from told me that the engine was rebuilt at one point. The current NV head looks fine and the valves look fine. Due to this history, I might just pass on this block and use my other one.

After it's re-honed, machined and top of bore chamfered I can't see any issues using it. the rings don't go that high by looks of it, the one in shadow is hard to see how far down it goes though

Thanks. I will save this block for future use, boring 2 mm. I will use the other block for now.
