Anyone using a 260 with a steel shifter carrier?

My transmission doesn't have the mounting bosses for the aluminum one.

I would think I can bend the steel one just as easily, but I'd like to hear some confirmation.

Anyone?

Oh wow. I even posted in that thread. Don't I feel like an idiot.

Back then, I'd never even seen a 260 without the tabs to mount an aluminum shifter carrier... now I own one!
