Question about intake air temp sensor OBD2

Completing my harness connections for my S52/OBD2 swap. I am using an M50 manifold with the Turner M50 manifold kit. My M50 manifold currently has the "snap in" intake temp sensor plugged into the underside. Can I use this M50 sensor with my OBD2 setup, or do I leave that disconnected and mount the OBD2 IAT sensor in the intake boot, instead? A little confused as to whether or not each of these would be providing the same function. Thanks-

Edit: attached a pic of both. The one on the left was plugged into my M50 intake manifold.

You got those wrong way. The plastic one on the left is the obd2 one. But you can use either one. The values are close enough and those serve very little purpose on engine management.

I'm using the one on the left modified to fit into the second hole in the intake boot. I'm also using an m50manifold.com conversion kit w/ my OBDII setup.

Thanks for the replies. My Turner M50 manifold kit has a nice mounting solution that allows me to use the original manifold junction block that has the snap in slot for the OBD2 sensor. Looks like I'm good and don't need any modifications.

Yeah the one on the left is the OBD2 variant.

Run the version that matches your ECU as there's a significant difference in readings.

You can thread the plastic OBD2 one to fit into the M50 manifold if you desire.

Thanks for the heads up. Fortunately my Turner manifold kit allows me to use the obd2 sensor without modification.
