Considering a cam regrind? Dyno graphs say no?

    Best to install in the head and measure at the valve. Again, when you take away the base circle and don't compensate in lash, the dynamic valve lift will be less with a regrind. (not just hydraulic lash to keep contact, actual lifter in collapsed position)

    Again, I would have dismissed this as a weak engine, but it was collaborated by Dave. He put regrinds in his shop e30 and he lost a few HP.

      I'm assuming that was directed at me. If so, yes, I'm pretty sure everything was installed correctly. I did use the cam alignment blocks. My car runs great with no dips in power or anything. I like to think I picked up a bit of top end, but overall was pretty unimpressed. I replaced my lifters, rebuilt my vanos and bought a new tune when I did the cams. IIRC I spent ~$1200 total so it was pretty discouraging to not feel much, if any, difference.
