    Walbro 255lph

So I installed a new walbro gss341 255lph fuel pump. It works but I noticed it draws more current than the stock fuel pump fuse is rated at. I have an obd1 s52 swapped e30. So stock fuse is 7.5 amps but the walbro draws about 7.6 amps at idle. According to walbro it will draw 8-10 depending on fuel pressure. Would I need to increase my fuel pump fuse size? If so, how much can the stock wiring handle? I do not want to fry anything.

Use the stock wires to activate a relay. I placed my relay by the trunk battery and ran new wires from the relay to the fuel pump..

my TRE 255lph kept blowing the 7.5 fuse.
The wiring can handle a 10. Been using a 10 amp for 4 years no issue.

I was thinking of putting a 10amp fuse. I'll try that. Thanks.
