definately make sure all of your grounds are good. Make sure the wires you think are power wires, are in deed power wires, and the wires you think are grounding wires, are indeed grounding wires. Also make sure that you have the thin grounding wire that goes up front to the cam covering plate (where the vanos unit is on 93+ engines) is connected.

I'm guessing that your problem is ground/power related.

His power wiring is messed up. He connected the starter power cable and DME ground correctly, but the other power wire is incorrectly hooked up to ground instead of hot. Mr. Swiss, I've replied in the comprehensive DOHC thread at the top of the page.

Well I am sure that was part of the problem but I still am not getting any fuel, fire I dunno didn't bother. The crank sensor gives 0 resistance on the outer pins and a little on the far and the middle. I will pick up my DME relay and CPS tomorrow. I hope it is not the DME. :(

CPS and DME relay did nothing. I tested the relay plug and I don't think it is getting power. Thoughts?

How did you hook up the power to the starter and alternator?

Didn't, harness was already intact on the motor. It cranks fine.

OMFG it started! I drove it around the block headers only and I have to admit, I pee'd a little nailing 3rd around the corner. It's at the muffler shop now, exhaust will be done at 10 or so manana. I will not admit the reason I didn't have power to my DME and fuel pump.

Your check engine light wasn't coming on... you could have saved yourself the cost of the CPS if you'd told us that.

I know. But at least I can rest easy knowing that and the DME have been replaced so I won't get stranded due to either of those. In my defense the CPS looked OE.

Please tell me, maybe I am having the same problem. I can't get mine to start.

I had an eyelet on the mounting point of the junction box istead of the part that actually has power. So I myself.

Just a few more loose ends to wrap up. My temp gauge just wiggles when I turn the key but never moves out of the blue(like the bottom of the blue) I hooked up the wires off of the adapter from the treehouse adapter for the oil level sender and just like they are labeled and the check light is still on. The washer fluid light popped on as soon as I filed it up. :loco: And I am getting some tranny noise after driving it all day( it may be a byproduct of the lightweight flywheel)

Oh, and I think I am gonna need a new diff, maybe S3.46. 4K rpm's at 60 mph isn't gonna work. Although it was nice to smoke that WS6 firebird earlier. :D
