want OBD 1 swap for s52.. Where to get

Hey, Im looking to swap my s52 to obd1 before install. Thinking that I would rather pay alittle more if someone had everything then try to piece it out. Is there a good list of everything I need and where should I be looking. I posted in the wtb section. Anyone have or know where I can get the stuff for a decent price.
    Thanks

Talk to Joe, he posts on here as Funkmasta. He runs a company called Autobahn Autosport and has very good prices. I recommend him highly.

I recommend getting the ORCA CD for this. It has a complete parts list, and is quite good for documenting the swap. It shows both parts you have to pull from the donor engine, and what/how to outfit the OBD-2 engine.

Definitely try to find a donor engine. It doesn't really need to be low miles or in great shape as long as it's complete and everything works. I tried to buy all of the parts new (except for the manifold) and spent $1,500+.

I'm pretty sure Joe is selling all the parts for $1000. That's a HELL of a deal.

I'm in the process of doing the same and I can't believe that people shell out so much money for the Orca stuff. I'm not saying that it is crap but really there's enough people out there that have already done it.

For installing an S52 M3 swap, do these parts have to come from an S50 M3? Or can they come from any OBD1 E36?

                      Parts needed:
                      • OBD I Wiring Harness
                      • OBD I ECU (413 "red label" is best given no EWS)
                      • OBD I Crank Sensor
                      • OBD I Cam Sensor
                      • OBD I Fuel Rail
                      • OBD I Knock Sensors (2)
                      • OBD I Intake Manifold
                      • OBD I Oxygen Sensor
                      • OBD I HFM
                      • OBD I Main engine coolant hose

Yes they are all the same. The chip inside the 413 DME is different between the 2.5 and the 3.0, but otherwise, the parts are identical.
