Finally got some under-car pics. The first shows the spacer (that metal square on top of the mount), and the other two show the clearance between the headers and the subframe.

It's fucking borderline on whether I want to start dimpling it. I can see it maybe moving that much, but it's close.

      Thoughts?

Try it as-is. If it rattles, dimple it.

Nice ground strap... they are like $15 from the dealer if you care.

Appreciate the detailed pics. I was shopping those but now I think I'll go with the TMS shorty's. Bav Auto and Jet-Hot have them coated for $600.

I have similar engine mounts but without the spacers so they would surely hit.

            Ya' saved me. Thanks!

Dunno what brand - here's a pic before I mounted them:

The ones BJ bought were sold buy a guy on ebay "jdmmotorz" who isn't a registered ebay user. However, ebay user "425450" sells headers that look identical...I just bought a set. But BJ definitely paid less than I did. On the other hand, how wrong can you go with 250 dollar long tube headers?

I bought my set from JDMMotorz also. $250? Mine were $120... For that price, I don't mind massaging them a bit to get them to fit.

They were 120 from JDMMotorz, who doesn't sell them on ebay anymore. Looks like he started failing to fill orders, and got alot of bad feedback right in a line and left, or was kicked off, of ebay. Sad. :(

I guess 250 is ok, too. Nothing to be done. I need them now, not later when someone comes to fill JDMMotorz' place.

Very sad :( Glad I got in before he started failing on the orders :-)

$250 is still a great price. I'm very impressed with the quality of the ones I received, hopefully they're the same from the new guy. Probably is the same guy, actually ;-)

Word, thanks for filling in the blanks, Rex. The $320 I spent on the Jet-hot brings me over your total, so don't feel too bad. :-P
