    And also, if you do get new pistons and rods, that means you have to bore out the block = more money!

    What i'm hoping to do is get a S50 crank & rods, and 1 shrick cam, and not bore the block, so i'll end up with 2.9 ltrs instead of 3.0.

      Exactly. Well got the head off and turns out its not corroded! The cylinders look pretty good so scratch the boring it out. Turns out the head is cracked in 3 spots but thats another topic.

      Read throught this thread off the BFc and see if you cant gain any knowledge.
