M50 oil temp - oil pressure avg's

What is normal oil temperature after fully warmed up? Mine is reading 185, 190. On a cold night on the freeway it's 150-160. Hasnt gone over 200 yet.

My oil pressure on start up is 65

My oil pressure on warm idle is 18-20

In gear averages in the 40's - 60's

Are these readings normal?

10psi per 1k RPM warm is a good rule of thumb. Your motor sounds fine.

Similar to the m20, which I guess should be expected.

Temp doesn't go over 190 no matter how hard I beat on it.


Does anyone know what temp does the thermostat for the oil cooler opens?
I have an aftermarket cooler.
