Remove all parts from totalled car

Strip shell, send to bodyshop for paint

    Find S52, convert to OBD1

vehicle speed sensor code, I have checked the wiring about 12 times, its all there.

Alternator died, needs to get rebuilt.

Never hooked up my reverse lights, oh well I don't care lol.

Need to un-ghetto-rig my VDO temp sensor, its just on the hot side of the water pump now.

All I want to know is WHY THE HELL my car "loses power" randomly, AFR goes down the shitter and I lose power, then it kicks back to life....

Also I might have a fuel pump issue... BLAH!!!!
Mine started doing the same thing after I put an O2 in, I just slapped the M20 one in for a minute till I can get the correct one.

Ordered my M50 O2 and a new fan clutch today, sounds like a damn Chevy silverado under the hood when you rev it. :hitler:

                        s50 swap here
                        - lot's of annoying noise (muuuch noisier than m20) good quiet exhaust and plenty of aftermarket sound-deadening should fix that (in progress)
                        - lots of vibration (but my gf likes it) - actually after getting used to the vibration driving the car all summer, i feel really weird driving the 4cyl acura winterbeater - 0 vibration, feels like the ignition is not on
                        - too little space to make some good kind of cold air box = heatsoak when hot
                        - ZF tranny is not the smoothest to shift (even tho i got uuc evo3 with dssr)
                        - clunks in the driveline (still not sure if it's tranny, shaft, diff or halfshafts or the result of 11lb fly)
                        - low oilpan scares me
                        - ticking retainer timebomb
                        - vanos noise
                        - tires too thin (205)

but i still frikkin love the car

I like most people have the input shaft jiggles on the 260

my rev's drop between shifts slower then I expected

                          vanos clicks at 2250

other then that I love my m50. But still want more power.

Did everyone just yank their engine out of a donor car and then throw it in their e30? That would have been a perfect time to just replace everything as far as seals and things of that nature would go.

ive got the input shaft noise. my vanos isnt even noticable really until 3500 or so. I've been told that it could be a sign of a bad vanos, but this earlier design is either on or off.
