There's no reason to use an e36 228mm dual mass flywheel over a 228mm e30 single mass flywheel.

e36 240mm is better than either though.

I used this, but I called them to order and upgraded to a sprung hub disc to reduce chatter. I used the E36 trans though.

I used an aluminum E30 325 flywheel with E30 M3 race pressure plate and disk. Works well for my 3liter as long as you don't mind a heavy pedal. E36 M3 aluminum flywheel and clutch work in the 260 as well.

i went with the m20 flywheel shaved down, and a "stage1" clutch and flywheel. my s50 isnt modded, so im not worried about being able to hold the power. if it doesnt work out, i will post up and tell every1 what NOT to use.

Any sprung clutch will have less chatter than a solid clutch .

                I used an 323i euro single-mass flywheel ~13lbs and the e30 m3 clutch assembly.

                  Why not use a shaved e30 325i flywheel, e30 m3 clutch/pressure plate, and a euro 323 throwout bearing?

I have the JB flywheel, and a sport clutch. Need to upgrade the clutch though.

Drawbacks to a dualmass are also seen on the track as the engine rpm's take longer to respond with a 26 lb flywheel, vs an 8 lb flywheel.
