The m20b25 and the S14 swap are good ones if you don't want to build the m10. A dual sidedraft, high comp, cammed m10 with a good flowing exhaust is a pretty fun ride. I would upgrade the suspension if you haven't already.

I'd suggest caution in a large heavy motor. The true brilliance of the 2002 is it's balance. imho

I read an article about the s50 2002 in roundel. They said they had to move the firewall back about 9 inches at some spots and had to get rid of the heater assembly because the motor ended up in that area. Its a SERIOUS project. Like stated above, go built m10 or s14. Maybe just turbo the m10.

I would only do an S14 you don't want to screw up the balance of the car too much. or maybe something like an SR20?

m20 is by far your best bet. Fairly straightfoward swap, cheap motor, bulletproof if you dont ride the limiter. S14 if you have the budget. There are only one or two people that I know of that have done the m/s50 swap. Very involved from what I remember.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

I've got two of these buick motors in the garage. One built and a core. I swear one will make it into an '02 some day...
