I want the 17lb injectors you will soon have laying around.

Post graphs when the next round of "go" happens, would ya?

Right now I have 21lb injectors (pink) that match with the S52. Let me know if you're still interested. I'd be more than willing to sell them to you after I get the 24lb injectors.

          Dyno results: ugly

You'll notice the huge spike in the one picture with no smoothing.

          Thoughts?

That was less than impressive.. Around 20% drivetrain loss with 240 bhp... and you dealing with a dynojet that gives the highest numbers of any dyno. E30Josh put down 250 whp (on a dyno dynamics which is 15% less than a dynojet) on 12psi with a low compression m20... with just MS for fuel only...

You're telling me. We'll see what the results are with the Turner chip, euro HFM, and 24lb injectors.

Your A/F ratio looks lean - you don't make it to 13 until close to red line. It might be a good idea to stay off WOT until you get that chip.

Is there really a different TMS chip for OBD-1 conversions? I didn't see one listed on their web site but I imagine that it might have some additional tuning requirements.

I told Drew my configuration, and it seemed like no problem.

TMS has chips for just about every config out there.

Do I need 24 lb injectors? Some e36 guys say that if you have 21.5 you're good to go.

Turner didn't have any configurations for 21.5 lb injectors, only 24 lb.

                      Any ideas?

Technically, if you're not going with cams on an S52, 21.5#ers are plenty. If Turner doesn't carry a tune for it, I would opt going with a Stickley chip. Every thread you read on BF.c on TMS/Conforti vs. Stickley, Stickley is always highly praised while some complain about TMS chips making their cars ping or run rough.

I personally run a Stickley chip and I love it. Also, these are non-EWS chips. To order you have to e-mail him at CSSMotorsports@comcast.net and tell him what type of setup you're running.

basically 24# is a good upgrade for people with S50 that comes with measly 17.5# inj (that are definitely not enough)
For S52 they came to their senses and put 21.5# which is enough. TMS doesn't have tunes for 21.5 tho, but i hear AA and Stickley do.

                            Here's my dyno graph, BTW.

Mods on my '95 e36 M3: Intake, 24#inj., URI crank pulley, 3.5'' HFM, Stickley chip. Note I still had stock exhaust.

Second graph shows A/F ratio and HP.

Turner chip installed and now I have a whole new car.

                              Man what a difference.
