    "The sensor is switched to ground with sufficient level across pin 3 to 2. Pin 1 to ground when the sensor reads a low level."

      So then why did the harness they give us have only two wires....

      Maybe it is the way the E30 Active Check Control system uses the sensor differently, but I kinda doubt that since both sensors are 3 wire. After talking to iflytii at the track last night and the problems with the oil level sensor, my faith in Treehouse is deteriorating. I know this check engine light better go out cuz I'm about to burn this bitch to the ground.

        I know the sensor itself has 3 wires. They go up to the wiring harness little box thing. My motor is out of a 5er though. Im not sure using a 3er motor and trying to use the sensor would work the same. I have no idea.
