    Anyone have an idea???

    Ok i put the sheet metal holder for the shifter on the tranny, i know the motor is 10 more degres than stock and for some reason its way off......... does anyone have an idea to fix this???

    Turn your transmission brace 180 degrees around. It could be on backwards.

                There may be a way to install a late aluminum shifter arm on an early transmission without the mounting ears for it. I am looking into this now.

                    Ok, but seriously, try to get the brace and see what you're looking at then. It should be completely square.

                    As long as the shifter is straight, then you shouldn't have a problem at all. The good news is that it's matching up longitutionally. Just to get it laterally lined up is the catch.

                      yeah for sure!, Should i just buy one from that one guy, or should i fab up my own
                      I can easily do it my self...... but i would be using the way it is now to fab one up...
