    Need information on M50 swap

I am in the process of planning on my m50 swap... I have a 1985 318i.

What do I need/ need to do?

I am assuming that it is not a straight forward as a M20 - M50 swap.

you need to search is what you need to do.

yes it is as straight forward as a m20-m50 swap.

    look in the 24valve section

Come on dude, you gotta really try harder than that. That's like coming on the general technical forum and saying, Timing Belt. How do I change it?

Anyway, it is pretty much just as straightforward, except the wiring will be different.

You will also need a new radiator, driveshaft, transmission, clutch, clutch slave cylinder, flywheel... and a lot of other stuff.

First and foremost, you will need to upgrade your rear brakes.

            M50+drums=R3Vd E30

            Unless you wear manties.
