M50 Swap: How much did you spend? How much should I budget?

      my roomates e30m50 has the 3.73. Ill admit it feels much faster out of the gate and it gets into the rpm quicker. Maybe its due to the fact that his car has more wheelspin, but I can pull away from his car everytime from a dead stop. I really dont have anymore power adders besides those ebay headers.

      only thing i dont like about the 3.25 is it seems like it takes forever to get to the m50's sweet spot right around 3500 and up.

      not too concerned cause its the daily and i can still squeeze 28 mpg out of it.

            Every 325i with a manual transmission has a 3.73. Some are limited slip.

                      :) Seems that way... Got the E30 for $200... guy was gonna junk it since he f-up the timing belt when he "tried" to change it.. So it didnt run.. The rest was the E34 parts, the motor,trans... 93 Vanos M50 w/rebuilt head 5K ago..
