    quick question.

this is going to be vary brief, first off is there any difference in the e34 m50 oil pan for auto cars or manual? second this will be for my m52 swap, can i use a auto wiring harness for the obd1 conversion if i just cut out the auto crap or not hook up the tcm.

No, oil pans are the same auto vs manual, but there was a year change. I dont know the difference.

And yes, you can use the auto harness just fine.

I don't know that i'd just "cut out all the auto crap," you'll probably want to carefully trace the wires and pull them out as needed... nothing good comes from haste.

Don't worry about what label is on the ECU either... any 413 will work with a non-EWS chip.

but if it were a red label wouldnt i not need a ews delete chip.i heard there were some tuner companies that had a custom tuned chip for the obd1 conversion. i thought the motor doesnt run right with out it or am i just hearing so many mixed reviews from all over the net?

also more to come in a while im waiting on a guy that has a m52 avaliable so hopefully i will have it in 2 weeks. i will document the swap.;-)
