So I am putting together an M52/50 hybrid together and I was wondering (since I can't remember); what kind of water neck or attachment is there on the outlet of the waterpump on the m52 block. My M50 has a aluminum neck. And yes I could swap it all over... but would rather not. The neck on the m50 is smaller in dia. so that won't work either. Just wondering what is there factory. Thanks!

Yeah, well the metal impeller ones have faults as well - I don;t recall the specifics, but BMW actually shit-canned those after a while and went back to plastic. Mike Miller (Tech Talk guy in Roundel - also does the same column for Bimmer) can explain it - I can't.
The Stewart Products one is supposed to be light years better, especially in an engine that will see some serious use.
But you are just putting this in a daily driver for some little old lady, right? :giggle:Current Cars2014 M235i2009 R56 Cooper S1998 M31997 M3
