    e36 flywheel options

    using an m52 and e36 trans can i use the m20 single mass flywheel and normal sachs clutch?

    taht sort of clears it up...

    does the e36 starter work with the e30 flywheel, now?

      only if you swap the drive gear over.

        Yes, you can use the single mass m20 flywheel with an m50/e36 tranny. You need to have the back of the flywheel machined down and you need to use the e30 starter.

          and don't forget the clutch slave cylinder

          you'll havta use the cylinder from the m20 single mass setup
