s50 or s52 ?

      s52= more displacement, greater torque, gains 20hp with obd1 conversion making it 260hp vs 240 like the s50, newer motor so easier to find one with less mileage, better exhaust manifolds...and o ya if u r really lucky u can get an s52 from an m coupe/roadster which has the aluminum head and is over 50 lbs lighter, making it almost the same weight as an m20...s52 all the way baby!!! :bow:

          Um, the S52 in the M Coupe / Roadster is a cast iron block. ONLY the 1997-1998 Z3 2.8 had an aluminum block with ferrous sleeves.

                Cam sensor, crank sensor and a wiring extension (12522274971) for the VANOS solenoid (well and you'll need the wiring and brain from an OBDI car).
