That's the idea. You torque it initially to 22 ftlbs. Then, you torque it down another 90 degrees (all bolts), then once you do that sequence, you do an additional 90 degrees in the same sequence.
Go ahead and do the torque angle, both of them. Do one sequence, then let it sit for about 10-15 minutes before doing the next sequence. That should let it get to where it needs to be. If the HG still leaks, then pull it off and put some studs in there with a new gasket.
